Lockdown - Special Measures

As part of the national response to the Coronavirus pandemic, we temporarily closed the Salon and effectively ceased all trading from 23rd March 2020.

However, the latest Government briefings have defined the early beginnings of a framework for the phased reduction in the current Lockdown restrictions.

Whilst this is still clearly a developing situation and one that we will need to monitor closely due to the rapid nature in changes, it feels like we are now in a position to look cautiously at how we may re-open the Salon in some capacity.

Therefore, over recent weeks Carrie & I have been busy behind the scenes tweaking our processes, reviewing the services we can offer and putting in place measures which we think will be effective in safely re-opening our business, albeit in a limited capacity.

Gradually over time, we intend that this page to detail the approaches we are taking, provide guidance on the services we are able to offer and – when appropriate – the steps we will begin to take to safely build our business back to full capacity.

To be clear though – we expect that there will be a number of restrictions that will need to remain in place for the foreseeable future – we will continue to update this page on a regular basis as a central hub for the latest information, sharing links to new updates via our Facebook & Twitter feeds, also.

Please can we ask customers to check back regularly – especially in advance of any appointments – to make sure they are clear on the latest service details.
