Ahh the great British Bank Holiday; a time when garden centres & soft furnishers across the country go crazy with discount stickers and sale banners – the supermarket isles fill up with optimistic folks in summer wear, flip-flops & trolleys full of barbecue foods – and throughout many holiday towns & villages around the coast, the ancient battle of Caravan vs Traffic Cones rumbles on… (seriously where do all those extra cones come from?!)
With the continuous wet weather of the last few weeks it seems a lifetime ago since the sun last popped it’s head out from behind the clouds, but, back in early May, it did make an appearance just long enough to take our eldest dog Max out for a little wander up the Wrekin in Telford.
