2022 is to be a year of change for Scruffies as Carrie and I have been working on a number of activities for some time now around how we may both expand & further develop the business into the future. What better way to start a New Year than with sharing the news that we are moving to new premises!
After a lot of work at the tail-end {cough!} of last year where we successfully secured a lease on premises in the nearby village of Ashley (Market Drayton) we are pleased to formally announce that Scruffies will be physically relocating later this month.
The new premises are adjacent to the main road through the centre of Ashley and, as an ex-hairdressing salon, already contain the basic services & features that we can adapt for our needs.

We will be sharing more specific details over the next few days & weeks, but our goal is to wind down activities at the Mucklestone salon and bring our new salon at Ashley online for the beginning of March 2022.
It’s a daunting challenge moving a business ‘in-flight’ especially given short timescales and the costs involved, but Carrie & I really feel positive about the change and can’t wait to share some of our ideas & benefits we believe it will bring to existing and new customers alike.
After 7yrs it’s going to be a very hectic and stressful few weeks leaving Mucklestone, but fingers {and toes!} crossed it will all be worth it once we can welcome you to our new home.
There will obviously be some minor disruptions whilst we move, but we will be sharing our plans in the next few days to ensure we can keep everyone as updated as possible.
